The HORECA segment, together with the Residential and Office segments, is undoubtedly one of the most demanding and complex. In the design of lighting solutions, specific requirements must be taken into account for individual sub-areas, be they corridors, office areas, meeting rooms, lobbies, but also underground garages, escape routes, as well as restaurant and relaxation areas, swimming pools, etc.

Often neglected, yet a very important part of this segment is also outdoor lighting.

More than anywhere else, lighting plays a significant role in hotels and restaurants and is often a work of art that complements the design of the space. Through the choice of luminaires and the use of colour combinations, light creates the desired impression and atmosphere in a given interior. In the lobby it can be a bright, warm light, in the reception area a light that mimics the sunlight, in the relaxation area a light of soft warm colours and in the restaurant - a light that creates a mood that encourages conversation and food consumption.

In addition to the design aspect, the safety and security aspect is equally important, whether it is the durability of the luminaires, especially in the rooms, or the emergency lighting of escape routes and the lighting of food preparation and storage areas.
